Part of our program today was the presentation of the winners of
the Winter Wonderland Children's Design Contest. Karla Nelson
and Bonnie Cumberland invited the winners, their parents, and
teachers to today's meeting so we had a very full house. Each
child was introduced to the group. They included Chelsey Nelson
age 8 of Eagle View Elementary who could not attend because of a
school conflict. Her parents are Aimee Anderson and Jaime Nelson.
Emily Bergstrom is 12 years old and attends Family of Christ
School. Her parents are Jill and Michael Bergstrom. Baylee
Bessingpas is 10 years old and attends Forestview. Her parents
and Jenny and Dave Bessingpas. Jannah Hall is seven years old
and attends Lake Region Christian School. Her parents are Curtis
and Michelle Hall. Lowell Elementary's entry is Jenna Meyer who
attended with her parents Ron and MIchelle Meyer. She is six
years old. Kyle Johnson from Forestview is 13 years old. Kyle's
parents are Ron and Michelle Johnson and he attended with his
sign interpreter. Be sure to encourage everyone to visit the
Winter Wonderland Village to see all the entries on display. All
of the over 500 children are still eligible for prize drawings
and the winners will be announced later. Other Winter Wonderland
news included the working facts presented as part of the Board
Report. From November 22nd through December 31st, the project
will require 320 volunteers. It will be open from 6-9 each
evening except Monday and Tuesday. Ten people are needed each
evening. Plans are to put the sign-up sheet online so that
people can sign up either at the meetings or directly. Board
minutes have been mailed out. The other significant part of
Steve's report included the fact that we are making significant
progress in regaining the title of the World's Largest Sertoma
Club. Anna Gorecky has brought in 4 potential new members. As
President Julia explains, "It is easy, just ask people to come
to a meeting." The survey was discussed and the Northland Park
is on hold until a formal proposal is taken to the Board. |

As greeter you have several duties. You need to arrive about 10

The money collected must be divided by the Greeters equally--half
goes to the Current Club Treasurer for the social committee and
half goes to the Club President along with the bucket of tickets.

-
Pam charged Paul Gropper $2 because Mary wasn't here to help her
and he didn't volunteer.
-
Jeff from MidState Refrigeration acknowledged all the help he
had from Kathi Nagorski creating his article in the Brainerd
Dispatch about carbon monoxide and small children when he paid
his happy fine.
-
Kathi paid one herself for not having any faith in the Vikings
in the football picks in the Dispatch.
-
Les Franz got fined for being too too happy with our illustrious
sergeant. She didn't believe him for one minute.
-
Steve Mau has a double running around according to Pam and Julia
or at least someone with the very same name!! Pam used that as
an excuse to inquire into Steve's personal life. She wants to
make sure she is talking to the right one!
- There is no such thing as an average rookie!! All of our
rookies are wonderful outstanding extraordinary creatures.
