 Deb Anderson and Tina Dunlap visited the Brainerd Noon Sertomans in full Mardis Gras regalia to invite us all the a very special event
"Mardis Gras in Brainerd" to be held on October 27 at Cragunıs Legacy Pavilion from 7 p.m. to midnight. It is a celebration of 100 years of service in the Brainerd Lakes Area for the St. Joseph's Medical Center. Many area merchants and friends of the hospital have donated items for door prizes, raffles, and a silent auction. There will be food, music, and fun for all! For a tax-deductible donation of $20 per ticket (only 300 available) you will also be eligible for the Grand Prize Western Caribbean Carnival Cruise on February 3-10, 2002 leaving from Tampa, Florida. FAS 821-1130 Deb Kohan You can dress up, dress down, dress in costume . . .whatever is comfortable for you that does not involve being risque which includes nudity of any sort. Tina is the head of the Mardis Gras committee and Deb is SJMC Volunteer Coordinator. This looks like a fun time to celebrate a hospital that was founded 100 years ago by two doctors in 1901, sold to the Benedictine Sister, and originally built on the river to deal with casualties from the logging era.

The FAS Program was designed to encourage people to read the newsletter. Even those who attend the meeting can benefit from reviewing the announcements etc. If you find the letters FAS followed by your name, you must call the number provided and just leave a message that you called and attend the next meeting to collect your money. Simple--however 90% of the people never respond. For instance this week Jenny Baker was a lucky winner but Tim Spitzley missed the boat.

Photos Photos Everywhere Whew, over 70 new photos have been
uploaded to the MSN Community Page where your hard working
photographer is now storing photos. This community is for the
club, easy to join and gives you the opportunity to add edit or
delete any photos that are posted as well as leave messages for
fellow Sertomans. It is a good way to thank someone for doing a
good job or give them some positive feedback for a big event in
