May 4-6 - Regional
Convention in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Milo
Johnson has reservation information.
The Brainerd Sertoma Booth exhibit at the Regional Convention
will be in honor of Jon Haapajoki, looking for people to volunteer to
help put the booth together.
The Gem Hunt is soon ending
and we are down six members and need 10 additional new members to
achieve our needed membership level by December 1, 1999.
This seems like an unrealistic goal, but it’s been agreed
that in tribute to Jon Haapajoki’s passing we can do it!!! If everyone asked a person they’ve been thinking about
bringing to lunch, we’d have no problem reaching our goal. To take it even a step further, if you bring someone to lunch
between now and December 1, 1999, and if they sign up for membership
before the deadline, as their sponsor you will receive a $25.00 gift
certificate.
Brainerd Area Sertoma will be
selling raffle tickets for $20.00 each with the opportunity to win
back $40.00! More
information to follow.
Greeters -- you may be getting a
call from Rory Coit as a reminder that you are scheduled to greet.
Have
you given Sertoma your e-mail address?
If not, send it to Pam Sachs at eglponys@brainerd.net.
