Diane Hoglund of "Diane's Delights" A change of pace speaker was the order of the day as per some recent recommendations made at a noon meeting. Diane Hoglund of "Diane's Delights" related her true to life business success story. Her recipe columns are well-known to all readers of the Brainerd Daily Dispatch, Kenyon Weekly, and In-Fisherman. Her business success has come naturally as she LOVES food, recipes and cooking!!! For instance, she has an obsession with getting people's recipes, and if you won't give up your recipe she says, "Don't bother giving me a taste of the food!"  Diane does everything from cooking demo's at Herbergers to conventions at Craguns to Food Styling (huh?!) with Nelson Graphics. She has even been known to appear at Open Houses in the area to bake goodies for potential buyers. Diane also does people's grocery shopping and will come right to your home and cook dinner for you and your busy family!  Diane comes by her interest in food naturally. Her whole family included 7 kids and a mom, dad, and grandmother who were all excellent cooks. Thanks for the scrumptious presentation Diane.

Note
The Rookie Party was a great success! Special thanks goes to a great group of rookies who planned a spectacular evening. For those of your who weren't there- Rick Cole won the 32 inch TV door prize and Lori Redmond is going to Las Vegas. We are waiting for final invoices to come in to determine the amount of money we will be donating back to the club.

Mike Boen gave Marla some "SERTOMA Rising" pins to be given to Rookies involved in planning the party.
