Please help Jeff Fitch out with his efforts to make this a part of the Flag Project.

  • Winter Wonderland final take down will be after Easter. Surveys went out to the sponsors to get feedback for next year. Deadline for application for funds from WW is March 31st. We need more apps.
  • The Foundation Presentation by Laura Beilke will be April 14th.

Rumor Corner
  • It took Gus to find the missing mike--thanks!! Big Mike was missing however as was Brian so we had the ad-lib famous Greg Straka in his second try at sergeanting. Good job Greg!!
  • Mary Marana didn't know how to take pictures--actually the real photographer screwed her up by not putting a card in the camera. Notice the brown eggs were the boys and the white eggs were the girls--hmm MM thinks boys are more photogenic?
  • Clyde Bender came with the lovely Reed Campbell and joined our club. Welcome. It was nice of your to jump in to the Pipe and Drape volunteers!
  • Welcome Brent Hoheisel! John Raboin has been playing too much Mafia Wars on Facebook-he tried to heist Kris's guest. Shame on you John! It cost them both $2, John also got his WW application to fund his family vacation turned down.
  • Art Becker thought we should explain to our members and guests the concept of Pipe and Drape. People who sign up need to show up!
  • MM paid two bucks for flashing Greg while he was eating. Karen Owen had to pay $2 for not flashing him.
  • Paul Gropper doesn't know the difference between a hood fan and a four wheeler--it cost all his neighbors a dollar.
  • Karen didn't know Greg was sergeant today so her little smart remark got her fined big time. Karen Munsterteiger claims to be Greg Straka's new best friend--somebody came up with an very inappropriate substitute for "friend" at her table. Charlie Bartels actually said the word in his intro.
  • The Tooth Fairy got fined for dressing funny.
  • Reed got fined for pulling the sergeant's beard and getting a haircut that didn't show.
  • Mark appointed Milo our "groundhog"--he's back from Florida so it is officially summer

Notes from your President
We have been asked to participate in the March Food Share Campaign sponsored by the Salvation Army. The March campaign is very important since it determines the amount of funding allocated throughout the year to purchase more food for the shelf. Food and dollars donated stay in the community. Money donations work through the Second Harvest Food Bank and actually allows the Salvation Army to buy more food per dollar so monetary donations are welcome. The weakened economy has increased the demand for services and this is one way to help those struggling with these issues for the first time. If everyone brings one non-perishable food item to each of our March meetings, we can make a significant contribution to the cause.
