Winter Wonderland Update
Winter Wonderland is now open Christmas Day, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve by request. (Pam Bye is having a Sertoma volunteer party at the Chap after the last hurrah New Year's Eve) The Holiday Village will NOT be open but if you can volunteer contact Joe Schulte.

Current Stats 70 lbs of popcorn sold, about $36,000 in revenue, and over 10,0000 people in 4900 cars. The WW is opening early to accommodate the large number of people waiting so if you are working get there as soon as possible.

*Everyone is encouraged to bring potential members to a Sertoma meeting with the Club picking up the cost. However, you will be billed $9.50 for any other guests.
Greeter Schedule
Remember: As greeter you have several duties. You need to arrive about 10 minutes early. It is your job to greet people, help them find their badges and sell them a ticket if they wish to participate. The money collected must be divided by the Greeters equally--half goes to the Current Club Treasurer for the social committee and half goes to the Club President along with the bucket of tickets. Be there by 11:45 and call somebody to substitute for you if you can't be there.

Rumor Corner
  • Wow who ate all that popcorn!
  • Gus was quoting Mike Howard today, "We could be selling tootsie rolls!" when Steve Mau and Julia had to shut him down so the board report could get presented.
  • Steve Mau was wearing his Santa hat today and his brain was blocked-his SAIR A TOM A pronunciation was a bit much.
  • Congratulations to the curlers who defeated our arch rivals the Rotary last week.
  • Mike Boen claimed to be the only worker at the dog pound table but Scotty Fisher, Gary Loge, and our smiling pseudo exercise salesman would certainly beg to disagree.
  • Charlie Bartels is now the purveyor of half empties at the half empty bottle shop. He of course is selling them at full price.
