| Program |
| For
those of you who didn’t attend the luncheon, I am not
writing the exact thing I wrote two weeks ago.
In fact, Roy Miller led today’s program addressing
the Y2K issue again. He
asked people around the room to tell how their businesses were
preparing for Y2K. People
spoke from many different types of businesses, including
people in the medical field, insurance, law firms, phone
company, cellular phone service retailer, cable TV, radio, and
others. All seem
quite confident that everything will function normally at the
turn of the millennium and that their computers were all
compatible.
Next week, Becky
Best from the Small Business and Industry Department at
Central Lakes College, will be speaking.
