Pine
Ridge Golf Course in Motley, Minnesota, is the site of the Second
Annual MAO Scramble in memory of Mark Ocel. Ocelco representative
Ken Lacy was at Sertoma today to invite everyone to participate in
this tournament which will be held on September 29th with an 11
a.m. Shotgun start. The fee is $75, $35 of which will be donated
to Camp Confidence where Mark was a long time participant in the
Classic Golf Tournaments.
Ken also explained that they hold a prize raffle and last year
they gave away $1500 worth of prizes that helped the cause. He
would also appreciate any donations from companies or individuals
of raffle items.

Your entry fee includes a reception and awards banquet afterwards
with your choice of three entrees from the Ridge Rib and
Steakhouse located at the course. If you would like more
information you can call Ken Lacy at 218-824-2455 (W) or
218-839-5815 or email him at
ken@ocelco.com. If you have not had a chance to play the
beautiful challenging Pine Ridge Course, this is a great
opportunity to do so. The course is located in a rural area that
abounds in hills, water, and spectacular scenery any time of the
year. |

| Remember:
As greeter you have several duties. You need to arrive about 10
minutes early. It is your job to greet people, help them find
their badges and sell them a ticket if they wish to participate.
The money collected must be divided by the Greeters equally--half
goes to the Current Club Treasurer for the social committee and
half goes to the Club President along with the bucket of tickets.

| Sertoman of the Day |
Sue
Slaybaugh who recently joined Sertoma under the auspices of Joe
Schulte was today's honored member.
Sue works for Integra Telecom in its Baxter Office. Although
the company employs 11,000 people and is located in 8 states, it
prides itself on full customer service in its local offices and in
it support of the local community. Sue has been with the company
for a year as an account executive for the Brainerd, Baxter, and
Little Falls area. She previously managed a sales office for a sun
tan products company.
Sue and her husband Bob came to the Brainerd area together when
he got his job at Confidence Learning Center 17 years ago. They
have one four year old son pictured with her and Sue's hobbies
include scrap-booking and family hunting, fishing, and camping
expeditions.
From the glint in Trevor's eye, you can see that Sue has her
hands full with this little guy who loves pirates, ice cream and
his mom. Sue's most embarrassing moment occurred at her wedding
when her husband arranged an most unusual "tip" for the band.
Everyone is suppose to ask Bob's boss, the illustrious Mr. Olson,
how he missed the show. Thanks Sue for bringing your many skills
in community service from Jaycees to Sertoma. |
