| The Speech and Hearing Committee meets on
the basis of requests for hearing equipment from charities or to
schedule the volunteers who help with Vision and Hearing Screening in
the Brainerd Middle Schools each year. The Brainerd Noon Sertoma has
been involved in equipment provision for hospitals, nursing homes,
individuals and providers. The principal equipment supplied is
amplification devices for the public school. They have done such things
as help with the audiometry for new born screening at hospitals. Sertoma
has also sponsored hearing conservation programs. This work is done
under the direction of Bob Ehrich. |
