Pipe and Drape has proven to be a very solid and substantial money
maker for the Brainerd Noon Sertoma Club. This was an idea presented
to the club by Bob Sherman over 10 years ago. Although it involved a
substantial investment in equipment including a trailer, a vehicle and
the pipe and drape itself: it has more than paid for itself many times
over. Businesses, chambers, resorts, and even private individuals have
rented this equipment knowing that not only are they taking care of a
business need, but also, their money is being funneled back into the
community in the form of charitable bequests from Sertoma. Kari Barnes
is the new Pipe and Drape Chairman for 2007-2008. |
