The Sunrise Sertoma Club of Brainerd began in 1990. Currently the club holds breakfast meetings on Thursday mornings at the Northwind Grille in downtown Brainerd, beginning at 6:45 AM.Sertoma is headquartered in Kansas City, MO. and is a 501(c) (4) not for profit international organization dedicated to “SERvice TO MAnkind.”

Morning Meeting

Sara Spaeth and Theresa Harsha with the Central Lakes College Veterans Resource Center, accept a donation from the Sunrise Sertoma Club. Club members David Quisberg and Jeff Hilborn presented the check for 100% of the funds donated as part of the 2015 “Joe of GI’s” fund raiser. In addition to the monetary contribution, over 200 vouchers for a free cup of coffee were donated to the Veterans Resource Center.

The Sunrise Sertomans invite you to go “green” this Holiday season and recycle your non-working Christmas lights and extension cords. As you decorate your businesses and homes, bring your non-functioning lights and extension cords to participating businesses throughout the Brainerd Lakes area.The Sunrise Sertoma Club of Brainerd will recycle the lights and cords through Kenwood Enterprises with 100% of the funds raised going back into the community.
